THE ARINC 818 STANDARD

Our Velocity generation of frame grabbers, video generators, and converters enables ARINC 818 systems to utilize high-resolution graphics such as 4K. The Velocity Plus card is designed for projects which require GRT to customize ICD's that are not implementable in our XI software. The Velocity Plus ARINC 818 card also comes in a dual channel option. Our Velocity Dual Channel is configured with 2 ARINC 818 receive channels and link rates up to 8.5 Gbps.

Velocity Plus Card Options:

Single Channel: Use as a receiver, transmitter, or an ARINC 818 converter to or from HDMI. Enable ARINC 818 systems to utilize up to 4K graphics at link speeds up to 10.0 Gpbs.

Dual Channel: The Velocity Plus Dual Channel Card can be setup in several different ways to provide more flexibility in testing environments with link speeds up to 8.5 Gbps. 

• Receive and view both ARINC 818 channels on a computer

• Receive and view one channel on a computer, and the other through HDMI

• Receive on one channel and view on both computer and HDMI

• Capture and display video while sending Object 0 return packets

• Transmit on ARINC 818 test an FPGA generated test pattern
