VELOCITY XMC - ARINC 818 Card
The Velocity XMC ARINC 818 card is a ruggedized product design for embedded computer products and SBC (Single board computers). The XMC form factor allows itself to be mounted on a variety of carrier cards such as VPX for modular systems.
The Velocity XMC card can be ordered for a link speed of 1.0625, 2.125, 3.1875, 4.25, 6.375, 8.5 and 10.0 Gb/s (10.0 link rate not supported on the dual channel version). The cards can receive or transmit ARINC 818 video and have a total data storage of 256 megabytes (MB). This allows for two 128MB image stores which allows seamless video capture or transmission. Our XMC has a dedicated HDMI port so that incoming video can be viewed live without loading the PCIe bus or HDMI imagery can be captured onto the XMC card for retransmission over ARINC 818.
Velocity XMC supports an 8-lane PCI express (PCIe) interface that can achieve 4 GB transfer rates in a rugged form factor.
