HOTLinkTM II Video Card - (HL2V) Frame Grabber and Camera Emulator

The GRT HOTLink II Video card is based on the Cypress HOTLink II Interface that is Fibre Channel compatible at the FC-0 and FC-1 layers. The card supports a wide range of video formats with data rates from 160 Mbps to 1.5 Gbps. The card can be enhanced with an SXGA video port for viewing live video on a standard computer monitor. Two 16 Mbyte image stores allow the card to have uninterrupted throughput from HOTLink II port to PCI or from HOTLink II to SXGA. The card is available with a 50 or 75 Ohm BNC connector, SMA , FCN type Twinax connector, or a Fiber Optic transceiver.

The HOTLink II Video card and associated drivers use DMA to move video frames to and from on-board memory. The card has two 16 Mbyte (ping and pong) image stores such that PCI can access image memory while receiving live video. PCI transfers up to 40Mbytes can be achieved depending on card and system configuration.
